Wood is seeking a Chemical Engineer to join its Projects business unit, focusing on the Oil, Gas and New Energy (OGNE) area. This opportunity is onsite. The Wood Colombia role seeks professional engineering staff in chemical engineering or related fields, with 2–3 years of specific experience in engineering projects within the Oil \& Gas sector, to serve as a Process Engineer. Work location: Bogotá. Proficiency in tools such as Hysys, Pipephase, Pipesim and Microsoft Office is required.

* Conduct field visits to gather and collect information required for project development.
* Develop typical engineering project documents across various phases (conceptual, basic, detailed), such as: Industrial Consumption Summary, Process Description, Material and Energy Balances, Equipment Lists, Line and Interconnection Diagrams.
* Prepare process drawings in accordance with project specifications, typically including: Block Flow Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Utility Diagrams and Decommissioning Diagrams.
* Participate in interdisciplinary document reviews to ensure proper information handling and engineering integrity.
* Attend scheduled workshops during project development, such as risk analysis, constructability, design review, peer review, etc.
* Execute any other responsibilities assigned by your immediate supervisor and aligned with company needs.
* Promptly inform the employer or contractor about latent hazards and risks at your worksite.
* Provide clear, truthful and complete information regarding your health status.
* Comply with the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System rules, regulations and instructions.
* Promote comprehensive care for your health. Participate in Occupational Health and Safety training activities defined in the SG\-SST training plan.
* Participate in and contribute to achieving the objectives of the SG\-SST.
* Promptly report accidents, incidents, unsafe acts and conditions to HSSE or COPASST.

**Requirements:**
* Experience in the Oil \& Gas sector.
* Basic knowledge of process simulation tools such as HYSYS, PRO II, STONER and other process simulators (oil \& gas) or pipeline and gathering/distribution piping systems.
* Basic knowledge of engineering documentation.
* Microsoft Office. Desirable:
