**Job ID:** 245742 **Employee Referral Program – Estimated Payout:** $0.00 We are committed to investing in our employees and helping them advance their professional careers at ScotiaGBS. **PURPOSE** * Contributes to the overall success of the GBS Colombia Compliance and AML Program, ensuring that objectives, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of compliance strategies and goals. * Collaborates in managing the development of the GBS DR Compliance Program. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Supports compliance management across Hubs to manage and maintain entity reputations. * Builds trusted relationships with business lines and corporate functions by advising on how to implement compliance solutions for cross-border units. * Promotes awareness through training and monitors adherence to applicable legislation for Hubs. * Proposes updates to the Compliance and AML Program to ensure proper functioning of the system. * Advises on and responds to queries arising from compliance matters (privacy, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering). * Collaborates in submitting regulatory reports to ensure compliance with current regulations. * Supports the development of internal policies within Hubs to align them with applicable regulations. * Ensures proper filing of documentary evidence and other information related to AML risk management and prevention for the Hub in Colombia. * Contributes to developing segmentation, identification, measurement, and control of AML risk for the Hub in Colombia. * Supports implementation of the privacy program. * Collaborates in adapting compliance controls and verifying their effectiveness to meet obligations associated with regulatory compliance risk, AML risk, and conduct risk. * Provides support in analyzing projects to ensure alignment with compliance mandates. * Contributes to the proper functioning of all mechanisms comprising the Hubs’ Compliance Program. **Reporting Relationships** Primary Supervisor: * AML & Compliance Manager, GBS Colombia Direct Reports:* N/A Shared Reports:* GBS DR Manager * Senior Compliance Manager, GBS Colombia-DR **Scope*** For the Hub in Colombia, supports management related to compliance with regulations issued by the Superintendence of Societies regarding SAGRILAFT and PTEE. * Interacts with International Banking Compliance and Corporate Compliance in executing the Global Compliance Program. **Education / Experience / Other Information** * Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and negotiation skills. * Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills. * Time management skills. * Knowledge of risk, and of designing and implementing compliance and AML programs. * Proficient use of tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. * University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant banking experience and/or experience managing compliance and AML programs. - Spanish and English B1–B2 **Working Conditions** * Work in a standard office environment.
