**Job Title** Junior Software Development Engineer**Job Title** Senior Software Development Engineer **About The Business Area/Department** Reservation is the beating heart of many Amadeus products, it handles critical steps on trip reservation including booking, ticketing, management of traveler records, etc.Our organization, Reservation, drives these reservation functions for most of Travel Content, such as air, land, and sea. We are accountable for our unique reservation platform, used by both by Airlines and Distribution actors. With the travel industry rapidly changing, the Reservation organization is involved in key ongoing and new projects at the crossroads of all the business units (e.g. integration of the next generation of distribution interfaces to acquire airline content, enhancing the platform to optimize merchandising techniques for our customers, etc.). We also recognize the technical challenges of our platform’s modernization, bringing reservation in the cloud and clustering the platform has already started. **Summary Of The Role** * As part of the Reservation team, as a Software Development Engineer, you will be working in close relationships with product definition analysts, quality assurance engineers, and product management, providing solutions to airlines, travel agents, and beyond. * A Software Development Engineer is accountable for the technical design and delivery of the product functionalities based on the solutions agreed with the stakeholders (Customers, Product Management, Product Definition Analysts) and in line with the team vision. * You will be at the heart of the Reservation, where you will have great opportunities to acquire a broad view and knowledge of the Amadeus system. * You will be responsible for the development of new software solutions along with the maintenance of the existing code. * You will then have close interactions with many developments, PDA, QA, and DevOps members/teams in Amadeus, located all over the world. * You will be integrated into a stimulating and collaborative environment, in a scrum team, where you can learn and grow very quickly. * Works autonomously within defined processes and procedures or methodologies, takes standard decisions, and may support the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature. Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from more senior\-level roles or managers, with regular monitoring of the status of the assignments. * **In This Role You’ll** * Design, develop, and maintain high\-quality software solutions that enable secure and efficient data exchange with customs authorities. * Collaborate closely with Product Analysts, QA engineers, and Product Managers to deliver robust functionalities aligned with regulatory requirements and customer needs. * Take ownership of technical design and implementation, ensuring compliance with architectural standards and best practices. * Work in an Agile environment (SAFe), contributing to continuous improvement and innovation. * Mentor junior developers and share expertise to strengthen team capabilities **About The Ideal Candidate** * Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. * Technical Expertise: + Strong proficiency in OOP language (primary language).
