Job Summary: This role involves comprehensive support for banana producers, including financial management, insurance claim processing, and client relations. Key Highlights: 1. Monitoring and reconciliation of claims and payments **Description** --------------- **The Role** * Attending to banana producers. * Managing the signing of the agricultural producer type declaration – Finagro. * Reporting updates to the insurer: enrollments, withdrawals, and modifications. * Reporting shipments – Banana Cooperatives of Magdalena: weekly deduction of the premium to be borne by the banana producer. * Monthly reconciliation of shipment deductions. * Requesting accounting account reconciliations to generate premium payments. * Requesting premium payments to the insurer according to the agreed cash flow. * Reporting payments to the insurer. * Reconciling accounts receivable with the insurer. * Attending to and processing claims. * Uploading claim notifications reported by the banana production area onto the website. * Monitoring progress of farm inspections. * Obtaining copies of inspection reports. * Reviewing claim settlements submitted by the insurer. * Presenting claim settlements to producers. * Obtaining the signed settlement document from the producer. * Sending documents to the insurer to process payment. * Tracking claim payments. * Delivering payment documentation for indemnities to clients. * Work location is Santa Marta and the Banana Zone in the Department of Magdalena. **Qualifications** ------------------ **Requirements** * Technician or student pursuing a professional degree in fields related to economics and administration, Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Agribusiness Engineering. * Proficiency in office software tools. * Customer service orientation, analytical skills, teamwork, and planning of work activities. *Equal Employment Opportunity*
