




Job Summary: We are seeking an intermediate/senior electrical engineer for testing, commissioning, and design of electrical protection systems in substations. Key Highlights: 1. Experience with protection relays in substations of 220 kV or higher. 2. Knowledge of IEC 61850 and proficiency with ETAP or DIgSILENT. 3. Skills in relay configuration and testing using OMICRON. Required: Professional degree in electrical engineering, electronics, electromechanics, mechanical engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience in commissioning protection relays in substations of 220 kV or higher, within hydroelectric companies. Responsibilities Intermediate/senior electrical engineer with solid experience in high-voltage substation design, capable of performing tests and commissioning of electrical protection systems, designing and validating electrical and mechanical interlocking logic, preparing and tracking energization protocols, conducting specialized electrical tests on protection equipment, configuring protection relays using specialized tools, and preparing technical reports and test protocols. Requirements Relay configuration (DIGSI / PCM600 / Enervista) OMICRON testing (Test Universe) Knowledge of IEC 61850 Proficiency with ETAP or DIgSILENT Practical experience in substations Familiarity with test equipment such as: Omicron CMC CPC100 Relay and protection system configuration using: DIGSI 4 / DIGSI 5 PCM-600 Enervista Multilin Design of electrical and mechanical interlocking logic. Preparation of energization and testing protocols.
