




Job Description The **Purchasing Associate** role is essential to ensuring the proper flow of materials and supplies in residential construction. You will work directly with the **Operations Manager** and one of the company’s founders, ensuring that field teams have everything needed to keep projects moving forward. Responsibilities * Evaluate and select new trade partners. * Review and organize bid proposals and contracts. * Ensure supplier insurance compliance and contract administration. * Perform material and labor takeoffs. * Accurately and efficiently create and issue purchase orders. * Request and secure proposals from various trade partners for review. * Review contracts, bids, and takeoffs to verify accuracy and compare costs across suppliers. * Analyze cost variances and implement cost-saving improvements. * Serve as the initial point of contact for purchasing-related matters with suppliers and trade partners. * Maintain professional and supportive relationships with all trade partners and team members. * Manage the Purchasing Department’s databases. Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent. * Prior experience in: * Residential construction. * Construction procurement. * Construction field management. * Architectural design/drafting. * Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). * Bilingual B2+ Position Type: Full-time
