Position Summary:
Assist in preparing accounting calculations to comply with US GAAP and local accounting regulations, and support monthly/quarterly analyses and closings.

**PURPOSE:**
Assist in preparing accounting calculations to comply with US GAAP and local accounting regulations for multiple entities. Collaborate on preparing accounting estimates and analyses required under U.S. and Latin American accounting standards.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Collaborate in preparing straight-line accounting for tenant and land leases
* Collaborate in preparing the asset retirement obligation estimate, accounting for tower assets and liabilities based on legal and contractual obligations, and provide corresponding analysis
* Collaborate in preparing property, plant and equipment movement and account reconciliations, including related depreciation and amortization
* Assist with purchase price allocations for acquisitions and acquisition accounting for multiple entities
* Assist with preparing reconciliations of holdback or earnout amounts related to fixed assets and/or entities
* Collaborate in adopting new accounting standards, including lease accounting
* Work closely with external auditors and provide necessary support and documentation
* Collaborate in monthly and quarterly closing activities, including preparation of journal entries
* Assist with any other technical accounting tasks
* Collaborate in preparing financial statement disclosures for assigned areas

**POSITION CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**
This position is performed in a standard office environment. Standing, sitting, and walking daily are required. Occasional travel may be required.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
* Minimum 5+ years of related experience required
* Excellent analytical skills, motivation, and confidence to independently address problems
* Detail-oriented and willing to work collaboratively in a team setting
* Punctual and able to work under pressure with deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft AX, Word, Excel, Outlook. Siterra experience preferred
* Must be able to interact effectively with other departments and professionally represent the division
* Prior experience at audit firms is an advantage
* Intermediate/advanced English proficiency is an advantage
