Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Coordinator to lead and coordinate technical activities related to processing, analysis, and validation of academic and scientific information, supporting the development of automated solutions. Key Highlights: 1. Lead and coordinate data science and AI projects in higher education. 2. Supervise the quality of processes and outcomes in information analysis. 3. Support the development of automated solutions for data management. We are currently developing a nationwide project focused on establishing strategic guidelines for integrating Artificial Intelligence into Higher Education in Colombia. We seek a **Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Coordinator** to lead and coordinate technical activities related to processing, analysis, extraction, and validation of academic and scientific information. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating the project team, ensuring process and outcome quality, and supporting the development of automated solutions for data management and analysis. **Responsibilities / Job Functions** ------------------------------------------- * Coordinate activities and workflow of human talent assigned to this project phase. * Plan technical and operational activities of the project team. * Propose scope and guidelines for tasks to be carried out within the project. * Serve as a liaison between different members of the technical team. * Supervise and ensure efficiency and quality of developed processes. * Conduct necessary validation activities to test obtained results. * Ensure quality of tasks and deliverables generated during project execution. * Support development and implementation of automated solutions for web data extraction and storage. * Coordinate activities related to processing, analytics, and management of academic information. * Participate in in-person meetings in Cali, Medellín, and Barranquilla, incorporating outcomes into the final document. **Requirements** -------------- * **Professional degree** in Systems Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields. * **Postgraduate degree** in areas related to engineering, systems, analytics, data science, or artificial intelligence. * **Minimum two (2) years of professional experience** in developing data science projects and information processing. * Experience implementing and tuning automated solutions for web data extraction and storage. * Knowledge of data analytics, process automation, and information management. * Experience coordinating technical teams or workflows in technology projects. * Leadership, organizational, analytical, monitoring, and collaborative work skills. **Conditions** --------------- * Location: Bogotá D.C. * Work modality: Remote work with possibility of in-person travel as required by the project. * Schedule: Monday to Friday — 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. * Contract type: Fixed-term contract for the duration of the project. * Payment: Monthly fees. * Availability to travel if required. **Documents Required for Hiring** -------------------------------------- * Updated resume with academic supporting documents. * Diplomas and graduation certificates. * Employment or contractual certifications related to prior work experience. * Valid RUT (Tax Identification Number). * Disciplinary background certificates.
