Position Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the maintenance, design, implementation, and operation of electrical infrastructure at a biogas-based power generation plant. Respond to contingencies and propose operational improvements for 24/7 operations Biogás Colombia SAS ESP is a company dedicated to landfill biogas treatment, electricity generation from biogas, and biomethane production. We require an Electrical Engineer to perform the following duties: * Lead maintenance of the company’s electrical infrastructure and supervise monitoring, cleaning, assembly, and disassembly of equipment at the power generation plant. * Develop and review designs, studies, reports, and other documents related to electricity generation and distribution, including all protection systems and electrical design components. * Coordinate and manage construction, implementation, and operation activities for infrastructure associated with electricity generation and distribution. * Design, implement, and conduct appropriate follow-up on the maintenance plan for all electrical components and infrastructure across the entire project. * Support execution of monitoring and calibration plans for all equipment comprising the company’s physical infrastructure, especially electrical infrastructure. * Lead and ensure compliance with regulations and the regulatory framework governing the electricity sector, guaranteeing availability and operation of power generation plants. * Respond to contingencies and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and continuity of processes, given the facility’s 24/7 operation. **Experience:** Minimum 1–2 years in sectors such as *oil and gas, power generation, projects, piping, or gas.* **Contract Type:** Indefinite-term **Work Modality:** On-site **Work Schedule:** Full-time **Location:** Doña Juana Sanitary Landfill, Bogotá, Colombia **Working Hours:** Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. ***Salary: To be agreed upon based on experience.*** Job Type: Full-time
