Position Summary: We are seeking a leader for a major road project in Colombia, responsible for aligning objectives, managing construction packages, and mitigating risks—contributing to the transition to net-zero emissions. The Project: This opportunity aims to support one of Colombia’s most significant road projects in recent years. It is among the country’s most substantial road infrastructure initiatives, with an estimated investment of approximately COP 8,800 million. You will be responsible for: * Leading the project’s comprehensive strategy, aligning technical, contractual, and operational objectives. * Managing multiple construction packages simultaneously (maintenance, rehabilitation, and new construction). * Ensuring governance, accountability, traceability, and technical–financial control. * Identifying, anticipating, and managing critical risks related to engineering, scheduling, land access, weather, and territorial coordination. * Ensuring effective relationships with stakeholders: government agencies, communities, contractors, and supervisory entities. * Collaborating to achieve the shared objective of transitioning to net-zero carbon emissions—jointly assuming responsibility for proactively identifying and managing associated emissions and reduction actions during project execution. You will need: * A professional degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering. * Certifications: MCIOB / MAPM / MRICS / MICE (desirable). * Over 20 years’ experience in road infrastructure (maintenance, pavements, bridges, open-cut works). * Knowledge of and experience with EPC, FIDIC, and/or NEC contractual frameworks. * CSCS certification or equivalent. * Extensive experience in stakeholder management and inter-institutional coordination. * A strong track record leading complex, large-scale road projects or programmes.
