Job Summary: We are seeking a Painting Assistant with experience in yellow machinery and coatings for equipment maintenance and beautification, ensuring high-quality application. Key Highlights: 1. Use and control of various types of paints **A civil construction industry company requires an Operational Team member: Painter, for the position of Painting Assistant.** **Requirements and 2 years of experience in**: Yellow Machinery / Coatings **Paints and Coatings** * **Industrial enamel** (durable final finish) * **Polyurethane paint** (high durability and gloss) * **Epoxy paint** (chemical resistance and anti-corrosion) * **Primers (anti-corrosive primer)** * **Color base (according to brand: Caterpillar, Komatsu, etc.)** * **Varnish or clear coat** (final protection) Key Responsibilities: Propose and carry out improvements and beautification of the organization's machinery and equipment. \- Clean metallic components of contaminants such as grease, dust, etc., which may cause poor adhesion and improper coating application. \- Ensure proper and appropriate use of assigned tools, equipment, and supplies. \- Verify the condition of required tools and equipment throughout the process. \- Prepare paint according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring correct homogenization. \- Apply the specified coating to equipment, machinery, and/or metallic components, following the painting scheme agreed upon with the immediate supervisor. \- Monitor paint and solvent consumption to avoid waste, based on practical yield estimates (m²/gal). \- Return surplus paint to inventory. \- Inspect processed equipment, machinery, and/or metallic components, checking for defects such as bare spots, runs, orange peel texture, low film thickness, etc. \- Maintain a clean and organized workplace in accordance with safety instructions and company standards. \- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of work areas. \- Perform all duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that are inherent to this position.
