Teamwork and proactivity A prominent company in the freight transportation sector requires a **Diesel Engine Mechanic** for its workforce, with experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy-duty cargo vehicles. **Requirements** * Technical or technological degree in Diesel Mechanics, Automotive Mechanics, or related fields. * Minimum of **2 years** of experience, preferably with freight transportation companies. * Knowledge of diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of diesel engines in tractor-trailers and heavy vehicles. * Familiarity with fuel injection, cooling, lubrication, and transmission systems (desirable). * Ability to interpret technical manuals and use diagnostic tools. * Responsible, proactive, results-oriented individual with strong teamwork capabilities. **Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel engines. * Diagnose mechanical failures and carry out corresponding repairs. * Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines and their components. * Verify proper vehicle operation following repairs. * Complete maintenance records and report anomalies. * Comply with Occupational Health and Safety procedures and company quality standards. **Working Conditions** * Fixed-term renewable contract. * Working hours: Monday to Friday, **7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.**, and Saturdays, **7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.** * Work location: **Mosquera, Cundinamarca.** Work location: On-site employment
