Opportunity for technical learning and professional growth Service Electromechanical Technician – Industrial Machinery Location: **Bogotá** **Company: Américas Maquinaria** At **Américas Maquinaria**, a company specializing in **industrial machinery for packaging and automation**, we are looking for a **Service Electromechanical Technician** who wants to grow with us by participating in the **installation, maintenance, and commissioning of industrial machinery**. We seek a **proactive, responsible individual with strong technical diagnostic capabilities**, who enjoys solving problems and working directly with industrial equipment. Main Responsibilities * Perform **installation, assembly, and commissioning of industrial machinery** at our facilities and at customer sites. * Carry out **preventive and corrective maintenance** on electromechanical equipment. * Diagnose and resolve **electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic failures**. * Install and connect **electrical components, sensors, actuators, and pneumatic systems**. * Conduct **functional testing, calibration, and technical adjustments** on equipment. * Provide support for **on-site technical services**, when required. * Record interventions, maintenance activities, and improvements performed on equipment. Required Profile * Technician or technologist in **Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Electricity, or Industrial Maintenance**. * Minimum **2 years of experience in maintenance, installation, or repair of industrial machinery**. * Knowledge in at least some of the following areas: * Industrial electricity * Pneumatics * Industrial sensors * Industrial mechanics * Fault diagnosis in machinery Additional assets * Experience with **packaging machinery or production lines**. * Basic knowledge of **PLCs, variable frequency drives, or automation**. * Experience in **installation or technical service of industrial machinery**. * Valid driver’s license.
