This opportunity is on-site. **The Role.** Wood Colombia is seeking an Electrical Engineer or related professional with 15 or more years of specific engineering project experience within the Oil \& Gas sector to serve as an Electrical Engineer. Work location: Bogotá. Proficiency in tools such as: Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365, Autodesk DWG Trueview \-Autodesk Navisworks Freedom, Fusionlive, ETAP, DIALUX, 7\-Zip, Adobe Acrobat Reader. **Our Clients and Projects.** Designing the future. Accompany subcontractors’ fieldwork to verify completed tasks. * Maintain project indicators, discipline progress (electrical), schedule, talent management, estimate and represent project indicators in reports as frequently as required. Report and communicate any scope changes identified. * Maintain design integrity in accordance with established standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency and technical accuracy across all designs. * Coordinate and prepare terms of reference and evaluation of bids for subcontracting activities generated within the project related to specific electrical discipline topics. * Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor and aligned with company needs. **What Makes You Extraordinary?** At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunity and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges. **Required:** * English proficiency minimum 75%, desirable. * Colombian Technical Regulation for Electrical Installations (RETIE), NTC 2050, NFPA 70, API RP 500 and other national and international standards applicable to the electrical discipline. * Development of electrical discipline deliverables, including: design criteria, specifications, data sheets, requisitions, calculations, single-line diagrams, layout drawings, studies, among others. * Interdisciplinary documents for project integrity (review). * Technical administration of subcontracts. * Cathodic protection. * Resistivity and electrical studies, among others. * Technical knowledge necessary to provide immediate solutions to clients. * Advanced use of ETAP and DIALUX software. **Desirable:** * Positive attitude and teamwork. * Communication and active listening. * Initiative. * Attention to detail. * Results orientation. * Leadership Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
