This is an individual contributor role requiring proactivity, the ability to work with OKRs, technical judgment, and collaboration on product decisions. **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and optimize high-volume RESTful APIs. * Implement and maintain integrations with external services (APIs, webhooks, internal services). * Improve backend performance, security, and scalability. * Work with Django and PostgreSQL in high-load environments. * Use Celery for asynchronous processes and background jobs. * Participate in code refactoring and continuous improvement. * Collaborate with product and other technical teams, contributing vision and technical judgment. * Support architecture decisions when required. **Mandatory requirements** * +5 years of backend development experience. * Solid proficiency in Python and Django. * Proven experience designing and maintaining REST APIs. * Experience with PostgreSQL and data model design. * Experience with high-volume, high-traffic systems. * Clear focus on performance and security. * Fluent Spanish; technical English for documentation and communication. **Desirable requirements** * Knowledge of Node.js and/or PHP. * Experience with Redis and NoSQL databases (ElasticSearch, MongoDB, ClickHouse). * Experience with microservices architectures. * Knowledge of observability (logs, metrics, monitoring). * Prior experience building SaaS products. * Experience and knowledge of Sentry. **What we offer** * 100% remote work. * Flexible hours and real autonomy. * Opportunity to contribute to a growing SaaS product with real impact. * Senior, collaborative engineering team. * Immediate hiring.
