




Job Summary: Manages the entire import process, ensuring planning, execution, control, and regulatory compliance for timely merchandise availability. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensively manage the import and foreign trade process. 2. Ensure regulatory compliance and merchandise availability. 3. Perform tariff classification and manage customs documentation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Comprehensively manage the import process, ensuring proper planning, execution, and control of foreign trade operations, regulatory compliance, and timely availability of imported merchandise, thereby contributing to the achievement of the company’s operational and commercial objectives. Your primary mission will be: Review and validate the documentation required to initiate import procedures. Prepare shipment invoice details using Excel spreadsheets. Review shipping documents, packing lists, and certificates of origin (where applicable). Perform tariff classification and itemized line-item breakdowns for submission to the customs broker. Receive and validate customs-issued import settlement statements and coordinate physical inspections where applicable. Coordinate logistics for merchandise movement from port or airport to warehouses. Receive and manage invoices from local logistics providers for import settlements. Ensure physical and digital archiving of documentation for each import. Guarantee compliance with current customs, tariff, and foreign trade regulations. Track (tracking) import movements. Control and submit shipping documentation to the customs agency. Verify documents against purchase orders, enter information into the system, and manage payments as appropriate. Operate internal systems and control authorities’ platforms. Requirements for the Role: Education Technical or Technological degree in Foreign Trade, International Commerce, or related fields Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, imports, and/or exports. Technical Knowledge Import processes and customs regulations. Tariff classification. Management of foreign trade documentation. Intermediate Excel skills. Proficiency in internal systems and control authorities’ platforms.
