





**Company Description** **Job Description** * Perform all tasks related to preparing elements, space, and environment required for material testing and assays. * Handle samples and conduct authorized tests and assays under the supervision of the immediate supervisor, in accordance with testing standards, the international standard NTC-ISO/IEC 17025, and commitments made to the client, following the assigned schedule and promptly reporting any deviations encountered during the process to the supervisor. * Conduct field tests upon prior authorization from the immediate supervisor and verify quantities and traceability of samples sent to the laboratory. * Maintain the laboratory and equipment in optimal operating condition—both technically and hygienically—to ensure safety in assigned work areas. * Complete all records related to performed tests and submit them to the designated official or supervisor according to established procedures, ensuring confidentiality of client information. * Carry out duties within a framework of full ethical conduct, thereby fostering client trust and credibility in the competence of personnel performing procedures and delivering results. This includes the obligation to report to the designated supervisor any undue internal or external pressures that could adversely affect work quality. * Ensure continuous improvement of the Quality Management System by complying with Procedures, Process Characterizations, and Work Instructions relevant to normal job performance. * Perform vehicle care duties and maintain the assigned vehicle in perfect working condition; report any operational issues. * Receive and verify the daily sample collection route for material samples received, and carry it out efficiently to completion, in accordance with client requirements for projects or construction sites; verify that clients receive their respective test result reports, delivered according to the established procedure. * Interact with the Engineer or warehouse staff responsible for sample delivery at each project or site visit, verifying that sample documentation is fully completed as per procedure. * Operate the transport vehicle in an agile, timely, and efficient manner, adhering to designated routes, transfers, and schedules. * Operate and assume responsibility for the proper use of assigned vehicles and/or machinery, tools, and associated equipment. * Conduct daily inspections of the assigned vehicle and/or machinery, in compliance with requirements and maintaining quality and timeliness. * Verify that maintenance of the assigned vehicle and/or machinery is carried out for job execution, and ensure its proper care and custody according to existing procedures. * Observe traffic regulations, protocols, and required documentation for vehicle operation and/or service provision. * Organize, clean, and maintain equipment, personal protective equipment, and facilities used for maintenance, care, and preservation of work tools in optimal hygiene and cleanliness conditions. * Perform other duties inherent to the position to ensure smooth operation of company activities. **Requirements** **Education:** High school diploma (see Experience 1) OR Technical degree in soil, concrete, materials, or related laboratory fields. (see Experience 2) **Experience:** * Three years of experience working as a laboratory technician in laboratories and/or construction projects, in roles related to quality control of construction materials. * One year of experience working as a laboratory technician in laboratories and/or construction projects, in roles related to quality control of construction materials. **Additional Information** Working Hours Mon–Fri 7:30 am–4:30 pm; Saturdays 7:00 am–11:30 pm Mon–Fri 10:00 am–7:00 pm; Saturdays 8:00 am–3:00 pm
