Construction Coordinator

Description

An architectural firm specializing in design and construction of white-shell buildings, with a focus on finishing works and acoustic insulation, is seeking a CONSTRUCTION COORDINATOR for the municipality of Río Negro. * Educational background: Architect, civil engineer, or civil construction technician. * Experience: Minimum of 3 years as site resident or coordinator for finishing works, plus experience in carpentry and wood cladding. * Training: Advanced course or Authorized Worker at Heights and Height Coordinator certification. * Personal transportation preferred. * Contract type: Project-based employment. * Working hours: As agreed between the company and the construction site. * Salary: To be negotiated according to experience and qualifications: COP 3,000,000 to 4,200,000. * Place of hiring: Medellín. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Manage service delivery, supporting compliance with quality, standardization, and efficiency parameters established with the contracting entity. * Approve and ensure implementation of policies, procedures, and responsibilities assigned to each organization or individual involved in the development of the project(s) under supervision. * Supervise the General Quality Control Plan in coordination with construction entities. * Coordinate and supervise activities. * Execute activities following the PHVA cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Act) defined by the Integrated Management System: plan what will be done, how it will be done, when it will be done, verify that it was done, and act upon non-conformities by implementing corrective and preventive actions. (This is carried out with support from the Project Director.) * Personnel management. * Manage procurement of necessary resources to ensure optimal service delivery on-site by the work team. * Attend Project Construction Committees and Management Committees for assigned projects. * Thoroughly review the monthly report(s) for the project(s) under supervision. * Request commencement and completion/liquidation certificates. * Issue work progress reports or work vouchers. * Maintain daily logs of on-site activities. * Submit payroll reports and work progress reports. * Prepare technical construction reports. * Order materials. * Perform other duties inherent to the position.
