





Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards at all stages of the production process, guaranteeing that arepas meet legal and company standards. Design, implement, and maintain the Food Safety Management System (BPM), ensuring its proper application in the plant. Perform and supervise quality controls on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products, ensuring they meet technical specifications. Manage and update prerequisite programs (BPM, POES, traceability, pest control, among others) to ensure compliance with sanitary regulations. Lead and prepare the plant for internal and external audits, including INVIMA and customer audits, guaranteeing the availability of records and evidence. Train operational staff in food safety, quality practices, and established procedures to reduce contamination risks. Monitor and control critical process parameters (temperatures, times, humidity, storage), ensuring product consistency and quality. Prepare technical reports and quality reports for management, including non-conformance indicators, rejections, and corrective actions. Manage the collection and submission of samples for microbiological, physicochemical, and sensory analysis, interpreting results and taking corrective actions. Investigate and propose improvements in production processes aimed at efficiency, food safety, and resource optimization. Keep documentation required by INVIMA (sanitary records, minutes, procedures) up to date and ensure its proper implementation. Respond to requests from INVIMA and other regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with current regulations. Job type: Full-time
