**Job Summary:** As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the operational execution of freight shipments handled by freight brokers. You will serve as a key point of contact between drivers, customers, and brokers, ensuring accurate tracking, timely deliveries, clear communication, and exceptional customer service throughout the transportation process. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication are essential for success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** **Shipment Tracking and Monitoring:** * Send tracking links to customers and provide continuous shipment updates. * Monitor the status of each driver to ensure timely pick\-ups and on\-time deliveries. * Maintain full control of all assigned loads and report accurate status updates to the freight broker. **Driver Coordination:** * Contact drivers to verify shipment status and confirm that operations are running smoothly. * Schedule delivery appointments and communicate details clearly with drivers. * Program and update ETAs (Estimated Time of Arrival) for all driver stops. **Customer Service and Communication:** * Respond promptly and professionally to emails, with a strong emphasis on excellent customer service. * Keep customers informed of any changes, delays, or issues affecting their shipments. **Route Planning and Time Management:** * Analyze delivery routes and estimated transit times. * Update routing and delivery time information accurately within the system. **Documentation and System Management:** * Review shipment documentation carefully and submit it correctly to customers. * Upload and maintain accurate load information in the system. * Review Proof of Delivery (PODs) thoroughly to ensure correctness and completeness. **Problem Reporting and Resolution:** * Identify, report, and escalate any issues that occur during transit in a timely manner. * Communicate incidents or delays effectively to both the freight broker and customers. **Qualifications:** * Experience in logistics, transportation, or freight coordination roles is preferred. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple loads simultaneously. * Familiarity with logistics systems and shipment tracking tools. * Ability to work independently in a fast\-paced environment. * Strong organizational and time\-management skills.
