Thor Horizon Apex SAS is seeking a Payroll and Accounting Analyst capable of comprehensively supporting accounting, payroll, and financial processes. The position demands precision, regulatory compliance, accountability, and reliable technical execution, aimed at strengthening the accounting department and providing continuous support to administrative and financial management.
The professional must rigorously manage operational processes, provide analysis when required, and ensure information quality, maintaining clear and timely communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Payroll processing, including overtime, surcharges, disabilities, leaves, and social benefits.
* Processing of social security and parafiscal contribution reports.
* Daily accounting entries: accruals, provisions, payroll, taxes, amortizations, depreciations, and closing-related adjustments.
* Bank reconciliations and reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
* Accounts receivable monitoring and control: verification of supporting documents, cross-checking with customers, alerts, requesting withholding tax certificates, and periodic reporting.
* Fixed asset administration: registration, cleansing, depreciation, monthly reconciliation, and physical\-accounting control.
* Support for monthly and annual closings, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of information.
* Monitoring of bank loan balances, verification of bank statements, and monthly reconciliation of principal and interest. Scheduling of bank loan repayments, installments, interest payments, and related financial obligations.
* Organization and archiving of accounting, payroll, and tax supporting documents.
* Support during internal and external audits, responding to requests and providing documentation for verification.
* Generation of reports requested by management and department heads.
* Compliance with internal procedures and strengthening of internal accounting controls.
* Deliver analysis of customer advance offsets against corresponding invoices.
* Deliver factoring analysis and process the revenue, credit note withholdings, and assignment and offset of receivables with the third-party factor, recording the remaining balance.
**Academic Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in **Public Accounting** (degree required).
* Valid professional license.
* Up-to-date knowledge of Colombian accounting standards (IFRS for SMEs) and current labor legislation.
* Intermediate or advanced Excel proficiency.
* Experience with accounting software (Geminus preferred).
* Familiarity with banking portals (desirable).
**Experience**
* Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting roles or similar positions.
* Demonstrable experience in payroll, social security calculations, accounting entries, reconciliations, accounts receivable control, bank loan monitoring, and fixed asset management.
* Experience supporting accounting closings (monthly or annual).
