**SENIOR LATHE OPERATOR.** **Education:** \-Technologist or professional in mechanical engineering, industrial production, mechatronics, or related fields. \-Training courses in CNC, industrial metrology, and knowledge of CAD and CAM. **Experience:** Minimum 3 years operating CNC machines, conventional machines, and measurement tools. **Responsibilities:** \-Verify availability of materials, tools, and equipment to meet the production plan. \-Sequence operations to optimize cycle times and minimize waste. \-Perform dimensional inspections of parts. \-Propose improvements to CNC programming cycle times and material utilization. \-Participate in manufacturing programming according to the area’s maximum capacity, considering personnel availability, equipment, supplies, and raw materials. \-Monitor machining times and record them in the designated form. \-Maintain dimensional control of machined parts within the area and record the relevant information. \-Perform dimensional inspections of parts. \-Review, interpret, and verify drawings, specifications, and technical standards prior to commencing production. \-Ensure turning, milling, drilling, grinding, and other processes comply with specifications. \-Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment. \-Comply with industrial safety regulations and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements during operations. \-Provide technical or operational assistance as instructed, and verify the effectiveness of methods and procedures used in developing production plans and programs. \-Conduct studies, perform metrology controls, and submit technical reports on performed activities to ensure subsequent processes proceed without issues. \-Meet delivery deadlines established by the Production Director for parts and products to fulfill customer commitments. **Employment Conditions:** Indefinite-term employment contract directly with the company.
