Job Summary: A major agricultural sector project is seeking a Rural Surveyor for fieldwork on coffee farms, conducting face-to-face surveys and recording information via mobile devices. Rural Surveyor – Coffee Sector \| Risaralda A major agricultural sector project requires a **Rural Surveyor** to perform fieldwork on coffee farms in the department of Risaralda. We seek committed individuals with strong interpersonal skills, fieldwork experience, and availability to travel daily to rural areas on their own motorcycle. Salary and Benefits **Approximate monthly income: $3\.000\.000** * Base salary: $1\.750\.905 * Transportation allowance: $249\.095 * Motorcycle maintenance allowance: $350\.906 * Bonus for survey quality: $400\.000 * Overtime, Sunday, and holiday pay when applicable * Statutory benefits Work Location Risaralda Preferably residents of: * La Celia * Balboa * Santuario Working Hours * Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Contract Type Project-based or task-based contract Requirements * High school diploma, technical, or technological degree. * Training in agricultural fields, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), or related disciplines. * Personal motorcycle with up-to-date documentation. * Minimum age of 23 years. * Minimum 2 years of fieldwork experience in agriculture, extension visits, or rural accompaniment. * Experience on coffee farms is desirable. * Proficiency in digital tools and mobile applications. * Experience administering surveys and collecting field data. Responsibilities * Conduct face-to-face surveys on coffee farms. * Coordinate visits with farm owners and managers. * Plan travel routes. * Travel to assigned rural areas. * Enter information into the mobile application. * Transmit collected information daily. * Meet project-established quality and timeline targets. * Report incidents to the Project Coordinator.
