We are seeking a Project Engineer to lead the configuration and implementation of telecommunications and security technologies, managing teams and clients.

A company in the telecommunications and electronic security sector is seeking a professional with a degree in telecommunications engineering, electronic systems engineering, or a related field to serve as a Project Engineer.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
\* Graduate professional in telecommunications engineering, electronic systems engineering, or a related field
\* Minimum 2 years of certified experience in technology companies or technology projects.
\* Field personnel management experience
\* **Knowledge of:**
* Router, switch, and firewall configuration (MikroTik, Cisco, Fortinet, Cambium).
* VLAN, RSTP, NAT, Port Forwarding, and load balancing management.
* VPN tunnel administration and network monitoring.
* Connectivity diagnostics for fiber-optic links, radio links, and satellite links.
* IP network integration for video surveillance systems (CCTV).
\* Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, and conflict resolution ability.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:**
· Submission of project progress reports.
· In-depth knowledge and handling of equipment to be deployed per project, including respective configuration and commissioning where applicable.
· Equipment inventory control and matrix of deployed equipment concentration.
· Ongoing management and communication with field personnel and/or clients, including concise explanations of implemented solutions.
· Processing warranty claims for defective equipment, notifying immediate supervisor, and arranging physical equipment shipment where applicable.
· Preparation of project execution reports and corresponding work plans for future maintenance.
· Continuous learning and research on emerging technologies for implementation.
· Implementation of security controls for active projects (user profiles, accounts, passwords, etc.).
· Tracking and submission of project-related expenses (per diems, transportation, accommodation, material purchases, etc.).
· Backup of project evidence or support documentation (configurations, delivery minutes, photographs, etc.).
· Always wearing official company identification (ID badge, vest, shirt, etc.).
· Proper use of personal protective equipment for safe high-altitude work (harness, goggles, helmet, etc.).
All other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
**Contract: Fixed-term for 6 months (renewable)**
**Salary: COP 3,800,000 to 4,200,000**
