Vacancy: Environmental Monitoring Assistant City: Barrancabermeja – Cira Centro Zone Number of Positions: 2 Contract Type: Work or Labor Required Profile: Technician, Technologist or Professional in Environmental Engineering with 0 to 6 months of experience handling environmental issues. Basic knowledge of environmental regulations and sampling procedures. Main Functions: Support environmental sample collection (water, air, soil, solid waste, discharges, emissions, noise, among others), following current technical and regulatory protocols. Prepare equipment, materials and reagents required for each sampling session. Properly label, code and record collected samples to ensure traceability and custody. Guarantee preservation and transportation of samples under chain-of-custody conditions. Accurately complete field forms and sampling reports. Perform cleaning, basic calibration and preventive maintenance of sampling equipment. Comply with safety and biosafety standards, as well as proper use of PPE. Assist in logistics for environmental monitoring campaigns. Report any incidents or irregularities detected in the field. Collaborate in data and records organization for submission to the technical department or laboratory Position Type: Temporary Contract Duration: 2 months
