DESCRIPTION Grupo Ortiz, a leading company in the construction and infrastructure sector, is seeking a **Warehouse Manager** with a solid track record and proven experience to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the efficiency and smooth operation of our logistical activities. **Key Responsibilities:** * Effectively manage assigned warehouses or storage facilities, ensuring optimal resource utilization. * Plan, direct, and coordinate material, spare parts, equipment, fixed assets, and other supply requirements for various projects, functional units, or departments within Grupo Ortiz. * Supervise and carry out receiving, sorting, coding, distribution, and inventory processes for all goods. * Ensure timely and efficient supply to meet operational needs across different units. * Implement and maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory systems. * Supervise and lead warehouse personnel, fostering a productive and safe work environment. * Manage order receipt and dispatch, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. * Control material and equipment withdrawals, maintaining detailed records. * Ensure proper preservation and storage of materials, preventing losses and deterioration. * Develop and analyze management indicators to support decision-making and continuous improvement of warehouse operations. **Job Requirements:** * **Education:** University degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields relevant to procurement and logistics. * **Professional Experience:** Minimum of 6 years of experience managing warehouses, preferably in construction projects, ideally in infrastructure projects. * **Technical Skills:** * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. * Experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. * Understanding and application of management indicators and database handling. * Solid knowledge of construction materials, including storage and preservation procedures. * Proficiency in measurement units and conversions. * Demonstrable experience in personnel management. **Desired Additional Skills:** * Leadership and team management capabilities. * Excellent planning and organizational skills. * Results-driven with goal-oriented focus. * Proactive with strong problem-solving abilities. * Effective communication across all organizational levels. * Professional integrity and ethics.
