Job Summary: Heavy equipment operator responsible for paving, excavation, loading, grading, dredging, and demolition, performing pre-operational maintenance and equipment operation. Key Highlights: 1. Operate heavy equipment for paving, excavation, and demolition. 2. Perform pre-operational checks and expert operation of machinery. 3. Ability to work in confined spaces and on diverse terrains. Contract Duties or Activities: Inspect equipment prior to operation; clean and lubricate equipment. Operate paving equipment to spread or compact concrete, asphalt, and other materials used in road, sidewalk, and similar construction and paving projects. Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, and graders to excavate, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel, or other materials during construction and related activities. Operate heavy dredging equipment, dig trenches, drainage conduits, or backfill trenches or channels. Operate heavy equipment to push, distribute, and grade earth, sand, and other materials. Operate demolition equipment to demolish buildings or other structures. KNOW HOW TO PERFORM PRE-OPERATIONAL CHECKS AND OPERATE THE MACHINE **Skills:** Ability to perform trench excavation, site grading, material loading, and demolition. Basic knowledge to conduct daily inspections of oil levels, coolant levels, hose lubrication, and track/tire condition. Ability to identify soil types.
