




Job Summary: Lead and manage the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of electrode and connector production processes, ensuring resource optimization and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and manage productive processes and continuous improvement. 2. Coordinate resources and optimize operations in metal-mechanical manufacturing. 3. Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Lead and manage: 1\. The planning and coordination of resources (direct and indirect raw materials, labor, and other requirements) to carry out the various activities comprising the production process for electrodes (grounding rods), grounding connectors, anchoring rods, and copper anode casting, following the guidelines defined in the company's internal work regulations. 2\. The production process according to the Integrated Management System (IMS). 3\. Propose and improve production process operations. EDUCATION: Engineer or technologist in productivity and quality (or related field), preferably; or high school graduate with a minimum of two years’ experience required for this position. TRAINING: Casting processes, electrolytic coating, and other company manufacturing processes; indicator management, data analysis and corrective actions, product regulatory requirements. Requirements of the Integrated Management System. EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year working in metal-mechanical or related companies, performing production scheduling and personnel management activities, resource optimization, and raw material inventory management; managing assigned personnel. · Schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production. · Monitor progress toward established objectives. · Conduct strategic planning for the production process. · Participate in meetings and various working teams. · Comply with and enforce internal work regulation policies. · Ensure proper care of equipment, tools, and assigned personal protective equipment (PPE). · Ensure achievement of production targets assigned to different operations (yields). · Comply with and enforce occupational health and safety requirements for assigned personnel. · Report daily on latent hazards and risks across the entire production plant. · FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES · PRODUCTION · Maintain up-to-date inventory records, ensuring product identification and guaranteeing traceability (Raw Material – Work-in-Process – Finished Product). · Monitor production according to production or work orders and machines. · Validate setup activities and controls performed by operators per quality plans. · Coordinate the flow of each item reference according to production planning and inventory levels. GENERAL INFORMATION IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: General Management · Ensure and control recording of nonconforming products at each stage of the production process. · Train and provide support based on multi-skilling requirements. · Ensure all required inputs are available for every operation instruction. · Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the plant, starting from each zone. · Control personnel entry, break, and exit times. · Report anomalies to the immediate supervisor. · Propose improvements to the production process. · Assign ad-hoc tasks when shipments occur or immediate action is required. · Collect, analyze, and scan chemical analyses of acids and alkalis, as well as other records generated at the production plant. · Verify disposition of nonconforming products and maintain Nonconforming Product (NCP) statistics. · Inform the Management Committee of any quality-related issues. · Manage inventories of chemical products (ledger). · Conduct monthly inventory of chemicals stored in the warehouse and laboratory reagents. · Obtain copies of purchase invoices, quality certificates, and purchase orders for each controlled chemical substance purchased. · Complete the logbook for handling controlled chemical substances (sulfuric acid and sodium carbonate) and update it on the SICOQ platform. · All tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor. · PROCUREMENT AND INVENTORY · Ensure, upon receipt of raw materials, that the supplier provides required documentation per the Quality Management System (Invoice\-Delivery Note\-Quality Certificates) matching the purchase order. · Deliver raw materials (Copper, Ferrosilicon, Zinc, Screws, Tabbed Straps) and consumables (Oakum, Sanding Belts, Scrapers), PPE, and tools to operational staff as needed. · Maintain minimum inventory levels for raw materials, maintenance consumables\-tools\-industrial safety items and PPE, and report procurement needs in advance. · Monitor proper use of personal protective equipment (per roster) and production consumables. · Report any anomalies to procurement during material and consumable receipt and verification. · Perform counts of received raw materials. Complete and place traceability labels with corresponding data (item reference, batch, supplier, next operation, conforming product, product for rework, or nonconforming product), correctly applying the traffic-light system. · Maintain clear spaces (corridors) for personnel and/or material flow. · Record copper movement in production (inbound – outbound). INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM · Promote participation of all company members in implementing the Integrated Management System. · Plan, execute, and verify compliance with INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS. · Plan and execute the Integrated Management System budget per guidelines established by General Management. · Plan and coordinate various activities related to the Integrated Management Systems within Todo Herrajes S.A.S. · Maintain the updated hazard and risk matrix (Occupational Health and Safety Management System - OH&SMS). · Coordinate with the ARL (Administradora de Riesgos Laborales) on health promotion and occupational risk prevention activities necessary for permanent compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&SMS). · Coordinate and monitor effectiveness of training related to Integrated Management Systems, ensuring evidence through appropriate evaluation of knowledge acquired during training and/or education. · Verify use of personal protective equipment in the production plant; conduct monthly analysis of absenteeism due to general illness and work-related accidents. · Maintain records and indicators required by regulations, as well as statistics on incidents and work-related accidents, occupational illnesses, absenteeism, and injury rates.
