Part of an international group with extensive experience in turnkey construction of industrial and logistics buildings, refrigerated warehouses, and temperature-controlled facilities. **POSITION** We are seeking to incorporate into our Bogotá team a **Purchasing Engineer** with experience in **industrial building construction projects**, to manage projects in Colombia and LATAM. **Main responsibilities:** * Comprehensive knowledge of the specifications and details of the projects to be developed. * Preparation and management of tenders for the various required specialties. * Supplier search and screening. * Receipt and analysis of offers, with ability to make decisions based on information contained therein. * Preparation of comparative tables. * Strong supplier management skills and ability to develop commercial relationships. * Ability to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and other conditions with suppliers. * Monitoring and control of the procurement schedule. * Support in contract preparation. * Effective communication with both suppliers and other internal departments of the company. * Proficiency in drafting and presenting reports and other required documentation. * Efficiency in procurement processes. * Identification of potential risks in procurement processes. * Adaptability to various project changes and requirements. **Requirements:** * Degree in **Civil Engineering** or related field. * Minimum **6 years’ experience in procurement**, preferably in the **industrial or logistics construction sector**. * Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Office tools. * Intermediate proficiency in MS Project. * Leadership skills. * Commitment and teamwork attitude. **We offer:** * Opportunity to join a solid and growing company. * Career development opportunities within the company. * On-site work in Bogotá. * Employment type: Indefinite-term contract with a 2-month probation period.
