Job Summary: We are seeking an Underground Mining Operator to support operational activities in underground mining, including mucking, development of mine workings, civil works, and ground support. Training and qualification in mining operations Mining Development Company Zomac S.A.S. (DESMIN) requires an Underground Mining Operator for its team, with or without prior underground mining experience and preferably with at least primary basic education. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the company’s various operational activities, performing duties in areas such as mucking, development of mining workings, civil works, and ground support activities, according to the assignment made by the company. Responsibilities: - Support underground mining operational activities as assigned to the area. - Perform mucking, loading, and material handling activities. - Support the development of mining workings and advancement of working faces. - Carry out basic ground support tasks in accordance with instructions and received training. - Assist in civil works activities within the mine. - Maintain order, cleanliness, and appropriate conditions in the work area. - Strictly comply with safety regulations, use of PPE, and established procedures. - Report incidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions to the immediate supervisor. Salary: between 1 and 2 SMLMV. Contract type: Indefinite-term contract. Schedule: Rotating shifts.
