In this role, you will be assigned to different work areas as needed to ensure production goals are met, quality products are produced, and performance is maximized—all while adhering to all safety policies and regulations. **Key Responsibilities** * Know and communicate to your team the relevant performance indicator goals. * Generate ideas that become projects contributing to the company’s performance indicators. * Achieve unit key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop activities aimed at improving them. * Plan, organize, coordinate, and control shift personnel tasks and functions. * Address specific process situations by resolving them directly, escalating only the most complex problems. * Monitor processes and release traceability information for products processed on production lines. * Supervise and control raw material accounting (WIP, packaging materials, inputs, and chemicals). * Control process parameters such as product temperature and holding room temperatures. * Ensure production complies with quality standards, process specifications, and other established guidelines. * Develop, implement internal standards, procedures, instructions, and staff training in accordance with company requirements. * Track the production plan hour-by-hour to achieve daily order fulfillment. * Observe Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) in the Behavior-Based Safety program, fostering a culture of safety in process areas and ensuring people leave the company injury-free. * Ensure control of the WIP holding room—both operational variables and proper storage of incoming product—while ensuring correct evacuation and handling of traceability belts. * Actively participate in plant inspections, guaranteeing timely reporting of conditions that may endanger personnel; also, receive training for the local emergency response team. **Qualifications** **Minimum:** * Must be at least 18 years old. * Technical degree or technology diploma in food production, administration, agro-industrial, or related fields. * Computer literacy. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word. * Ability to lift up to 25 or 12.5 kilograms with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to work in indoor and outdoor ambient temperature conditions. * Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts, with prior notice. * Ability to work in various environments where noise, dust, chemicals, etc., may be present—using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, or twisting safely—with or without reasonable accommodation. **Preferred:** * Experience with inventory systems. * Prior experience of at least 6 months in a production or plant environment. * Possession of a professional license aligned with your field of study, if applicable. **Please note that Cargill will NEVER request your credit card information, usernames, or passwords through any channel.
