In our hotels, these associates may work across multiple departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage, laundry) to assist with cleaning tasks—whether preparing clean linens and tableware for guest enjoyment, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dishwashers, sinks, washers, and dryers), or transporting linens and tableware throughout the hotel; these associates do whatever it takes to achieve the goal. Regardless of your specific role, there are several fundamental responsibilities that support success—creating a safe workplace; following company policies and procedures; maintaining quality standards; and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communication remain professional at all times. Uphold expectations and quality standards; develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and departments; support the team in achieving shared goals; listen to and respond appropriately to concerns raised by other employees. Report accidents, damages, and hazardous conditions to your manager. Perform a variety of physical tasks (moving items, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance). Remain constantly active (standing, sitting, walking for extended periods). Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, stretch, and stoop. Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors.
