Job Description **Role:** * Database Analyst \- Financial Sector **About the Position:** * At Q\-Vision Technologies, we are seeking a Database Analyst passionate about managing, optimizing, and securing critical data environments. * Your mission will be to plan, manage, and ensure the availability, integrity, and performance of databases used in the bank's operations, guaranteeing service continuity and efficiency. **Professional Profile:** * Degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, or related fields. * Three (3\) to five (5\) years of experience **administering Oracle and SQL Server databases in corporate environments.** * Advanced knowledge in: + **Database security, auditing, and role management.** + **Data backup and restoration.** + **Performance monitoring and diagnostics.** + **Managing databases on AWS (RDS, DynamoDB).** * **Desirable knowledge of COBIT, Always On, and monitoring tools.** **Main Responsibilities:** * Manage, evaluate, and plan technical support regarding Oracle and SQL Server databases. * Install, configure, and maintain Oracle 12c\-19c and SQL Server 2008\-2022 engines, as well as Reporting Services, Always On, and cloud databases (AWS RDS and DynamoDB). * Supervise database structure, integrity, and optimization, ensuring availability for daily operations. * Design and execute backup, restoration, and contingency strategies. * Implement cybersecurity and auditing policies for users, roles, and profiles. * Monitor database performance, diagnosing and resolving slowness or blocking issues. * Develop database models for new systems, coordinating with the Development team. * Perform preventive maintenance and software updates affecting data structures. * Participate in contingency and business continuity plans, ensuring high availability. * Document processes, procedures, and instructions according to COBIT policies. **We Offer:** * Career and professional development plan. * Ongoing training through Izy Academy. * Corporate benefits with partners in education, health, and wellness. **Working Conditions:** * Work Location: Bogotá. * Work Mode: Hybrid. * Contract Type: Indefinite term. * Salary: Negotiable based on experience. * Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you are passionate about database administration and optimization, this opportunity is for you.
