Because the challenges you’ll take on reflect your ambitions! **Responsibilities and Duties** Ensure end-to-end quality of digital products (Android/iOS apps, web applications, and web services/APIs) through functional, regression, smoke, and automated testing—guaranteeing stability, proper performance, and a consistent experience across different devices, browsers, and environments. Implement and maintain automation suites (Appium and web tools), enable quality controls in CI/CD pipelines, and integrate code quality practices (e.g., SonarQube) to reduce defects and accelerate delivery. * Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria; define test strategy per feature/release. * Design, document, and execute test cases (functional, regression, and smoke) for Android, iOS, Web, and APIs. * Execute tests on real devices and emulators/simulators; document evidence and results. * Report defects with traceability (steps, logs, screenshots, severity/priority) and track them to closure. * Build and maintain mobile automation using Appium and web automation (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright — depending on tech stack). * Implement and execute automated smoke/regression suites in CI/CD (PR, nightly, pre-release) with reporting. * Validate web services/APIs using Postman/Newman and/or frameworks; ensure status codes, payloads, errors, and contracts. * Support code quality control: monitor SonarQube/quality gates and coordinate remediation with development. * Manage test data and environments; propose testability improvements (mocks, feature flags, endpoints, logs). * Generate quality metrics (pass rate, defect leakage, severity, flakiness) and continuous improvement plans. * Standardize patterns in Figma: extract patterns, componentize, define rules, dos and don’ts. * Ensure responsible AI usage (privacy, PII, bias) and decision traceability. Note: Experience may validate educational level if formal requirements are not met. **Requirements and Qualifications** * **JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** * **Education Level:** Technologist/Professional in Systems/Software or related field (equivalent proven experience accepted) * **Profession:** Software/System Engineering, QA/Testing, or related disciplines * **Specialization:** Software testing (mobile, web, APIs), automation with Appium and related frameworks, defect and quality management, CI/CD integration, code quality (SonarQube). **Language:** Technical English (reading documentation and tools) * **Experience:** 3+ years in QA; proven experience testing Android and iOS apps on real devices; proven experience testing web applications and web services/APIs; 1–2+ years in automation (Appium and/or Web UI automation) and executing smoke/regression tests in releases. Note: Experience may validate educational level if formal requirements are not met. **TRAINING** * Mobile QA: Android (ADB/logcat, Android Studio), iOS (Xcode logs, TestFlight), device/OS compatibility. Web QA: cross-browser testing (Chrome/Edge/Safari/Firefox), responsive design, basic accessibility (WCAG — desirable). API/Web Services: REST/JSON (and SOAP if applicable), Postman/Newman, collections and assertions, contract validation. Mobile Automation: Appium (Android/iOS), robust selectors, Page Object/Screenplay (desirable), handling waits. Web Automation: Selenium or Cypress/Playwright (desirable), E2E and smoke test suites in pipeline.
