Job Summary: Responsible for driving an assigned vehicle, delivering products, and collecting payments according to the assigned route, ensuring compliance with commercial agreements and the cold chain. Key Highlights: 1. Efficient driving and delivery of products, ensuring compliance with commercial agreements. 2. Management of the cold chain for products (where applicable). 3. Cash collection management and daily cash reconciliation. **PURPOSE / MISSION**Drive the assigned vehicle, efficiently deliver products, and collect corresponding payment upon sale closure according to the assigned route, ensuring fulfillment of the commercial agreement with the customer as part of secondary transportation operations. **RESPONSIBILITIES** --------------------- **Distribution:** * Conduct vehicle inspection at the start of the shift and monitor that the thermo unit remains powered on throughout the distribution process to ensure product conditions (where applicable). * Drive the assigned vehicle, complying with current regulations and company-established policies. * Review and verify that the physical product to be delivered matches the items scheduled per invoice, ensuring accurate deliveries to customers. * Execute order deliveries while ensuring collection of required documentation based on customer type and fulfilling the commercial agreement with the customer. * Perform collections according to invoices or commercial area instructions, and conduct daily cash reconciliation to ensure sale closure. * Confirm and manage deliveries with observations via the monitoring platform. * Collect returns and transport them back to the distribution center, safeguarding both the product and associated documents. * Retrieve baskets delivered to customers during the route and formalize their return to guarantee recovery of company assets. * Ensure product quality for delivery in terms of handling care and delivery procedures. * Timely enter delivery information into the Delivery Application to enable real-time tracking. * Load products onto the vehicle (applies only to ACO operations). If required, perform cargo transshipment. * **Fleet Coordinator (Patiero/a):** * Apply checklist to conduct full vehicle inspection. * Monitor thermo temperature to ensure suitability for loading; once loaded, monitor the vehicle to maintain post-loading cold chain integrity. * Transport vehicles to various workshops, CDA facilities, car washes, service stations, etc., as required. * Prepare vehicles for loading (pre-cooling and positioning at loading docks). * Organize documentation including invoices, cargo manifests, waybills, etc., for handover to the Distribution Driver responsible for the route, where applicable. * Receive and/or issue mobile devices, bugís, slings, and partitions per route. * Receive the vehicle from the Distribution Driver upon route completion, validating any incidents for reporting to the Operations Coordinator. * Generate electronic cargo manifests when required. * Perform route certifications when required. * Monitor cabin disinfection routines and other related activities, where applicable. * Transport and position fleet at docks to receive certified cargo. * Load vehicles to ensure readiness and avoid delays in route departures. **EXPERIENCE** --------------- * Minimum 6 months’ experience driving cargo vehicles, public service vehicles, and/or special transport vehicles. Note: This experience need not be recent. * Experience in distribution of any type of product, preferably food products. * Prior experience in cash collection, or in loading/unloading cargo, is not mandatory. * Candidates with third-party vehicle experience (individuals) are accepted, provided such experience is verifiable. * For vehicles requiring a Class C2 license, candidates whose sole experience has been in taxis or similar vehicles are not eligible.
