Inspect parts and ensure quality standards CONVENTIONAL LATHE OPERATOR – BOGOTÁ **Automatización y Control Ingeniería S.A.S.** is seeking an experienced **Conventional Lathe Operator**, responsible for part machining and supporting the organization and execution of workshop tasks. We seek a technically skilled, organized, responsible individual focused on meeting deadlines, quality standards, and production targets. Main Responsibilities * Operate, configure, and adjust **conventional lathes**. * Manufacture and machine parts according to drawings, dimensions, and technical specifications. * Select and change cutting tools, blades, tool holders, and milling cutters. * Verify dimensions using **calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments**. * Perform adjustments and basic machinery maintenance. * Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing diagrams. * Inspect finished parts and ensure compliance with tolerances and quality standards. * Monitor production times and contribute to waste reduction. * Maintain an organized workstation and comply with industrial safety regulations. * Coordinate assigned activities with other company departments. * Achieve established production goals and targets. Requirements * **Minimum experience: 3 years** operating conventional lathes. * Technical training in mechanics, machining, machines and tools, or related fields. * Proficiency in using measuring instruments. * Ability to interpret mechanical drawings. * Knowledge of machining tools and processes. * Attention to detail and quality orientation. * Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines. * Responsibility, punctuality, and willingness to work in a team. Working Conditions **Salary:** $2\.700\.000 monthly \+ **$100\.000 bonus for goal achievement**. **Monthly income with goal achievement: up to $2\.800\.000\.** **Work Schedule:** Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a. m. – 5:30 p. m. Friday: 8:00 a. m. – 5:00 p. m. Saturday and Sunday: rest. **Workplace:** On-site – Downtown Bogotá, Cra. 12 \#18\-20\. Candidate Profile An individual with verifiable experience operating conventional lathes, strong technical proficiency, precision in work, and commitment to productivity and quality.
