If you're a solutions\-driven, passionate change\-maker, come join us in positively impacting the lives of millions of people world\-wide for a better future. **General Job Description:** The IRC seeks a general physician with experience in: a) Community-based health promotion and disease prevention activities. b) Comprehensive management of moderate and severe malnutrition. c) Promotion of sexual and reproductive rights, contraception, and voluntary termination of pregnancy. **Job Responsibilities:** * Contribute directly to achieving programmatic goals with support from the team, supervision, program management, and coordination. * Provide daily clinical care to 20–24 users across all program components, especially nutrition. * Provide counseling and care for voluntary termination of pregnancy in accordance with Colombian Constitutional Court Ruling C355/2006\. * Successfully carry out internal and external program referrals. * Record daily activities and services delivered during the day in the organization's designated clinical software. * Submit daily statistics based on services provided and associated diagnoses. * Submit daily Individual Health Service Provision Record (RIPS). * Accurately and promptly complete public health event reporting forms for subsequent upload to the SIVIGILA platform. * Conduct timely and comprehensive follow\-up for individuals receiving care. * Support educational sessions and continuous training organized by the program. * Issue pharmaceutical referral orders according to the organization's approved medication list. * Complete and sign the Diagnostic Support Referral Form at the time of medical consultation. * Comply with protocols established by the organization, the Departmental Health Institute, and the Colombian Ministry of Health and Social Protection. * Ensure implementation of recommendations issued by supervision, program management, and health program coordination. * Be responsible for supplies, medical devices, and other materials assigned for professional practice. **Donation Tracking & Reporting** * Submit periodic reports on project activities. * Identify the grant per service and point of care. **Program Development** * Make contributions that enhance the workplace climate. * Contribute to the strategic direction of the program. * Achieve targets for each grant. * Coordinate with other IRC departments (Emergency Response Division, Child Protection, Education, and Women’s Protection and Empowerment) to ensure holistic initial care for program beneficiaries. **Monitoring and Evaluation** * Complete and submit daily statistics based on services provided and associated diagnoses. * Maintain program health databases. * Successfully carry out internal and external program referrals. Indicator: Referral database. **Other Duties** * Comply with municipal and departmental regulatory requirements. * Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to enable and implement IRC programs. **Job Requirements:** * Medical degree holder with valid professional license and active registration in the Rethus system. * Minimum two years’ experience in community health promotion and disease prevention activities targeting highly vulnerable populations within mixed migration flows. * Minimum two years’ experience managing pregnant and lactating women within mixed migration flows. **Preferred Experience and Skills:** * Willingness to work on sexual and reproductive health issues, including access to voluntary termination of pregnancy (VTP). * Certification in comprehensive management of acute and moderate malnutrition is desirable. * Knowledge and experience in maternal and child health, Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI), voluntary termination of pregnancy, clinical care for survivors of gender\-based violence (GBV), and PYP (Prenatal and Postnatal Care). * Valid civil liability insurance policy covering extracontractual damages to third parties. * Skills in group facilitation, teamwork, and community engagement. * Skills: written and verbal communication, effective and empathetic interpersonal relations, teamwork, expressive fluency, and broad vocabulary. * Attitudes: service orientation, high tolerance for adverse situations, empathy, spontaneity in offering help and collaboration. * Principles and values: solidarity, respect for self and others, responsibility, integrity, transparency, honesty, truthfulness. **Work Environment*****:*** * Standard office environment; field visits to communities as required for program delivery. **PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS** All International Rescue Committee workers must adhere to the core values and principles outlined in IRC Way \- Standards for Professional Conduct.
