A Senior-level position requiring advanced knowledge and specialized depth or broad experience, achieving mastery in a single area or multiple broader areas of specialization. **Key Responsibilities:** * Support and ensure compliance, preparation, and oversight of cost estimates in accordance with approved procedures for the following project phases. * Plan resources to deliver estimation-related deliverables and be capable of preparing, submitting, and substantiating documents (estimation plan, estimation bases, estimation reports, CAPEX, OPEX, CAPEX trending, CAPEX reconciliations), following client, company, and industry standards. * Provide support in identifying, analyzing, and generating innovative solutions to issues related to cost estimation. * Provide feedback and support in developing and improving standards, procedures, and systems for estimating bids, tenders, or proposals. * Prepare and conduct estimation kick-off meetings with the project team and client. * Manage available time between project meetings, information requests, and CAPEX/OPEX preparation and estimation. * Present and substantiate estimation results based on assumptions or bases adopted during preparation of various documents. * Support identification of risk areas in cost estimate compilation and evaluate appropriate contingency levels; collaborate with the risk team to prepare risk analysis, contingency estimation, and accuracy level assessments. * Collaborate with project planning and control to develop master work plans. * Maintain organized, readily accessible information for queries and consolidation into departmental or company benchmarking databases. * Collaborate on cost estimation for specific studies. Responsible for integrating activities and identifying the full scope of work. Evaluate study outcomes, critical path, and recommended conclusions for consideration and discussion by the project team. * Support review of provisions related to program/cost engineering, as well as material control, and generate supporting data for contract negotiations. Participate in establishing pricing structures applied to quantities for estimations. * Define project cost control requirements in accordance with contractual requirements, objectives, and procedures. * Review design scope criteria and quantities to verify project completeness, and coordinate meetings with various disciplines and project stakeholders to verify information and define and design provisions aligned with the developed engineering scope level. * Compare and analyze scope quantities and cost data across projects. Against prior estimates, cost outcomes, and supplier prices, perform benchmark- and industry-standard-based reference estimations. * Prepare cash flow forecasts and be capable of estimating escalations using market-sourced information, as well as supporting owner cost development estimation. * Prepare cost estimate trends to support project trend control programs. * Support development of benchmarking and estimation tools. * Ensure cost estimate quality per Worley and industry standards, as well as established review procedures. **What will you bring?** * Engineering graduate, bilingual in Spanish-English. Preferably with knowledge of Cleopatra, Aconex, Bluebeam, and project management training. * Experience in project management and/or cost management and/or cost control activities. * Software, processes, and tools: Advanced Excel, Power BI fundamentals. Ability to assist others and solve problems. Opportunity to participate in developing new systems, processes, and tools. * Minimum Required Education — Postgraduate degree * Minimum Required Experience — 10 years in engineering cost estimation for automation, instrumentation, and control projects within industrial environments. * Experience with estimation software and tools, as well as proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft applications. Proficiency in Cleopatra Enterprise and/or Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (cost estimation software) is highly desirable.
