Job Summary: The Dispatch Assistant will handle general incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate handling, receipt, and dispatch of goods and documentation. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for reception, order preparation, and vehicle loading. 2. Controls inventories and resolves delivery claims accurately. 3. Generates invoices, ensures customer satisfaction, and guarantees traceability. **Job Purpose and Impact** -------------------------- **This is a Permanent position located at Carrera 16 69 84, Dosquebradas, Risaralda, Colombia. Please note that Cargill does not provide relocation assistance to the work location.** The Dispatch Assistant will handle general incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper execution in accordance with warehouse processes and procedures. In this role, the individual will complete activities related to the receipt and dispatch of documentation and goods, ensuring accuracy of documentation and recordkeeping. **Shift / Work Schedule: Rotating** **Key Accountabilities** ------------------------ * **Job Description:** + Receive finished products, frozen, IQF, and refrigerated goods, ensuring weight, quantities, temperature, batches, traceability, and product presentation. + Prepare orders via ticketing. + Load vehicles considering total units, weight, human resources, timely vehicle departure, and settlement aligned with scheduling and established pre\-routes. + Perform activities required to control inventory of finished and semi-finished products to ensure accuracy of information recorded in the JD Edwards platform. + Address and resolve delivery-related claims (shortages, overages, misdeliveries, and losses) from distributors, agencies, sales points, and staff (driver assistants). + Generate invoices for all products dispatched to Agencies and Distributors (products, by-products, raw materials, commercialized food items, industrial waste sent to third parties, etc.), including transfers to Agencies, complying with customer requirements, procedures, instructions, and the Company’s administrative and financial policies, ensuring precise control of product outflows and satisfaction of internal and external customers. + Clean loading docks. + Report traffic incidents occurring during work-related travel. + Participate in road safety training. + Comply with the organization’s commitment to adhere to road safety legislation and organizational guidelines. + Timely and truthful reporting of personal health conditions. **Qualifications** ------------------ **Minimum Qualifications:** * Must be over 18 years of age. * Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing up and down stairs, kneeling, squatting, or twisting safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to lift up to 25 kilograms or 12\.5 kilograms, with or without reasonable accommodation (as applicable). * Ability to work in various environments where noise, dust, chemicals, etc., may be present, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Completed high school education. * Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts, with prior notice. * Availability for overnight shifts. * Minimum 6 months of experience in similar roles (warehouse assistant, warehouse helper, etc.) within distribution or mass-consumption companies. * Ability to work under varying environmental conditions, including cold temperatures down to \-22 degrees, using PPE. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience using computers. **Please attach the following documents to your application:** **Complete resume**: copy of identification, academic certificates, employment certifications or personal recommendations To apply using chat/text, please click Apply Now button OR use this link to create a login to apply.
