Expectations: Path to Peace™ Participant Expectations & Community Agreements This experience is designed to be more than just a program. It is a shared journey. Each participant enters a space where growth, healing, and connection are possible because of the collective energy of the group. The strength of this container depends on each individual showing up with intention, respect, and a willingness to engage. While everyone’s story is different, there is a powerful thread that connects you all — you understand each other in a way few others can. This is also important to remember: You will get out of this experience what you put into it. Healing is an intentional practice, not a passive one. And you are not doing this alone — we are doing this together. To honor this space and ensure the best experience for everyone, the following expectations are in place: Core Participation Commitments • Attend the Orientation Call live (required) This sets the foundation for the entire experience and ensures you are fully prepared and aligned from the start. • Weekly Session Attendance You may miss no more than one live weekly session. Replays are available, but live presence is strongly encouraged for connection and integration. • Active Community Engagement This is not a passive program. You are expected to participate within the community space by: – Responding to prompts and reflections – Engaging with other members’ posts – Offering support, encouragement, and shared insight The container becomes powerful when everyone contributes. • Weekly Questionnaire Completion Each week includes a short check-in to support your progress and provide valuable feedback for program refinement. • Final Program Survey (Required) Completion of the final survey helps us improve future cohorts and expand access to others who need this work. Community Agreements • Come as you are — and be willing to grow • Maintain confidentiality and respect for all shared experiences • Lead with compassion, not comparison • Stay open, curious, and engaged • Take ownership of your experience and your outcomes This is a space of mutual respect, not judgment. Additional Guidelines for Success • Set aside dedicated time each week for practices and integration • Limit distractions during sessions to stay fully present • Communicate if you are struggling or falling behind — support is here • Participate with honesty and integrity — this is where real transformation happens Engagement Incentive To celebrate meaningful participation and connection, one participant will be recognized at the end of the cohort for exceptional engagement within the community. This is based on Skool participation points as well as the quality of interaction — not just quantity. The selected participant will receive: • A copy of the iRest for PTSD book (which inspired part of this program), or a book of their choice from our Path to Peace™ resource library • One personalized 1:1 Yoga Therapy session with Annette The intention is not competition — it is connection. Because when you engage: You deepen your own healing You support others in theirs You strengthen the entire container Closing This container is what makes Path to Peace™ so unique. You are not walking this path alone. You are surrounded by others who understand — who have lived, felt, and carried experiences that mirror your own in different ways. And together, through shared presence and participation, something powerful happens. This is where healing deepens. This is where connection is restored. This is where transformation becomes sustainable.
