Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented AutoCAD Technical Drafter to support the development of fabrication drawings and modeling of steel structures. Key Highlights: 1. Interdisciplinary coordination and drawing review We are currently seeking a **Technical AutoCAD Drafter** to support the development of fabrication, construction, and modeling drawings for steel structure projects. We seek a proactive, detail-oriented individual capable of interpreting technical specifications, engineering drawings, and fabrication requirements. Requirements * Technician, Technologist, or Professional in Technical Drawing, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields. * Minimum **5 years of general experience** in technical drawing and drawing development. * Minimum **2 years of specific experience** in developing **fabrication drawings for steel structures**. * Advanced proficiency in **AutoCAD**. * Experience in **3D modeling with SolidWorks**. * Knowledge and experience with **BIM methodologies** and use of **Revit**. * Ability to develop shop drawings, construction details, part breakdowns, material lists, and assembly drawings. * Familiarity with international standards applicable to the design and fabrication of steel structures (AISC, AWS, ISO, or others). * Knowledge of welding details and specifications. * Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings. * Desirable experience in interdisciplinary coordination and drawing review. Desirable Requirements * English language proficiency (reading and interpretation of technical documentation). * Experience in industrial, maritime, port, or infrastructure projects. * Familiarity with document management platforms and drawing review systems. Main Responsibilities * Prepare and update fabrication and construction drawings. * Develop 3D models and associated technical documentation. * Generate fabrication, welding, and assembly details. * Prepare material lists and shop drawings. * Incorporate engineering comments and client reviews. * Ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
