Job Summary: We are seeking a QA Lead to lead quality assurance strategies, coordinate QA teams, and ensure the quality of applications, APIs, and data processes. Key Highlights: 1. Drive continuous improvement of Quality Engineering processes. **Job Description** ------------------- QA Lead (Quality Engineering Lead) – Bogotá (Hybrid) Location: Downtown Bogotá Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract What Are We Looking For? We are looking for a QA Lead with experience leading quality assurance strategies for technology projects. You will be responsible for defining the test strategy, coordinating QA teams, and ensuring the quality of applications, APIs, and data processes. Responsibilities * Define and lead the Quality Engineering strategy for projects. * Coordinate and support the QA team throughout the entire testing lifecycle. * Plan, review, and approve test plans, test cases, and test evidence. * Oversee the execution of functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing. * Validate APIs using Postman and Swagger UI. * Lead ETL process validation and data quality testing. * Ensure compliance with quality standards, metrics, and KPIs. * Manage risks, defects, and mitigation plans. * Collaborate closely with development, architecture, data, and business teams. * Drive continuous improvement of Quality Engineering processes. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 6 years of experience in QA or Quality Engineering. * At least 2 years leading QA teams or QA initiatives. * Extensive experience in functional, integration, and API validation testing. * Proficiency in Postman and Swagger UI. * Experience in data testing and ETL processes. * Strong SQL knowledge. * Experience with Databricks, Power BI, and Microsoft Azure services. * Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum) and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
