You will set platform direction, lead delivery and operations, and align stakeholders across domains—apply now to help shape a modern data foundation. **Responsibilities** * Define the enterprise data platform vision, strategy, and multi\-phase roadmap * Design and evolve an AWS\-native lakehouse architecture for secure, scalable analytics * Drive migration from Microsoft\-centric data platforms to the target AWS lakehouse * Establish reusable platform standards, reference architectures, and engineering best practices * Own end\-to\-end delivery and ongoing operation of the data platform capabilities * Build and oversee ingestion and transformation frameworks to onboard trusted data products * Implement governance, metadata management, and discoverability using Amazon DataZone and catalog integration * Enforce fine\-grained access controls and policy\-based security with AWS Lake Formation * Ensure platform reliability, performance, and scalability through monitoring and operational controls * Optimize cost efficiency across storage, compute, and data processing workloads * Lead technology and tooling decisions across batch and real\-time processing patterns * Enable self\-service data access and coordinate alignment across architecture, security, and analytics stakeholders * Mentor and grow a team, setting quality frameworks and fostering continuous improvement * Act as the escalation point for platform decisions and cross\-domain delivery trade\-offs **Requirements** * 3\+ years of data engineering or data platform experience * Strong AWS data ecosystem experience with Glue, Lake Formation, DataZone, and IAM * Strong lakehouse architecture experience on AWS * Advanced ETL/ELT pipeline expertise and orchestration framework knowledge * Strong data governance knowledge including security and access control models * Professional English proficiency (B2, Upper\-Intermediate) **Nice to have** * Agentic Delivery Methodology experience for planning and execution * Analytics \& Data Assessment expertise to shape data product prioritization * Apache Spark experience for large\-scale processing * Microsoft Power BI enablement experience for BI interoperability * Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services familiarity for legacy migration planning **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn *EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
