Bogota, Colombia \| Full time \| Hybrid \| R1558051 **About the Role:** We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II to join our team and contribute to the development of our React Component Library, a key foundation for creating scalable, consistent, and high\-quality user experiences across our applications. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain reusable front\-end components while ensuring performance, accessibility, and code quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about modern front\-end development and enjoys building solutions that empower other engineering teams. ### **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, test, and maintain reusable UI components using React and JavaScript. * Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the organization's React Component Library. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable software solutions. * Participate in code reviews and help ensure adherence to engineering best practices. * Support development efforts across multiple layers of the application stack as needed. * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while maintaining a strong focus on quality and user experience. * Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team. * Provide peer support and assist in onboarding junior engineers. ### **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. * 2\+ years of software development experience. * Strong experience with **JavaScript (ES6\+), React.js, and CSS**. * Experience developing reusable and maintainable UI components. * Understanding of front\-end development principles, including responsive design, accessibility, and modern CSS practices. * Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. * Strong problem\-solving and collaboration skills. ### **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience building or maintaining design systems or component libraries. * Knowledge of TypeScript. * Experience with modern front\-end tooling and build systems. * Familiarity with automated testing frameworks. * Understanding of CI/CD practices. *IQVIA is committed to embracing a diverse and inclusive work environment.
