Job Summary: We are seeking a Steward for a Japanese restaurant in Medellín, responsible for cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, as well as preparing beverages. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain hygiene and order in the work area and utensils. 2. Prepare beverages according to quality and presentation standards. 3. Support the kitchen team and comply with safety regulations. A renowned Japanese restaurant located in Medellín is seeking a **Steward** for our kitchen team, who will be responsible for keeping utensils, tableware, and other kitchen equipment in optimal condition. Additionally, this person will be responsible for preparing beverages listed on our menu, ensuring compliance with the hygiene, quality, and presentation standards that define us. **Responsibilities:** · Ensure cleanliness, disinfection, and organization of the work area · Wash, dry, and store kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, and cutlery · Support the kitchen team in addressing any unexpected situations while adhering to safety regulations · Maintain personal appearance and hygiene · Conduct inventory and place orders based on product shortages · Prepare beverages according to technical specifications · Properly manage product rotation and labeling · Perform mise en place in accordance with good food handling practices · Before delivering beverages, verify product presentation · Correctly perform fruit and vegetable disinfection procedures · The storage area (warehouse) must be clean and organized · Complete all forms assigned to this position · Clean the restroom facility, if the sales location includes one · Clean sushi and hot kitchen areas · Clean the kitchen by removing trash containers **Technical Skills:** · Proficiency in handling utensils · Basic beverage knowledge **Interpersonal Skills:** · Teamwork · Effective organization **Salary:** Current Legal Minimum Wage, including all statutory benefits. In addition, the employee will receive tips, which accrue weekly but are disbursed after the 15-day probationary period. **Schedule:** Split shifts from Sunday to Sunday, with one compensatory day during the week (Monday to Thursday). Weekday schedule: 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM or 10:30 PM Weekend schedule: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM or 11:30 PM **Contract Type:** Indefinite-term contract **Work Location:** Medellín Position Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Work Mode: On-site employment
