Position: Project Manager Location: Remote, Canada Experience level: 8\+ years Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with 8\+ years of experience managing technology projects and working closely with technical teams, clients, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development and technology projects, along with the ability to manage project planning, execution, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication. Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude is required, with an interest in understanding and adopting emerging AI technologies. Roles and Responsibility: * Manage end\-to\-end delivery of technical projects from planning through completion. * Define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements. * Coordinate with developers, QA, DevOps, AI/technical teams, and business stakeholders. * Track project progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items. * Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear updates to stakeholders. * Identify project risks and proactively drive mitigation and resolution. * Manage client communication and ensure expectations are clearly aligned. * Work with technical teams to understand requirements, dependencies, and delivery challenges. * Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, and quality expectations. * Maintain project documentation, status reports, trackers, and project plans. * Support prioritization and coordination across multiple projects/workstreams. * Facilitate communication between technical and non\-technical stakeholders. * Identify opportunities to improve project processes and delivery efficiency. * Use AI tools to improve project management, documentation, analysis, communication, and productivity. Required Skills \& Experience * 8\+ years of experience in Project Management, Technical Project Management, or IT Project Delivery. * Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technology project environments. * Experience working with engineering/technical teams. * Good understanding of basic technical concepts such as APIs, databases, clouds, integrations, application development, QA/testing, and deployments. * Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously. * Strong communication, coordination, problem\-solving, and organizational skills. * Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Monday.com, or similar platforms. * Hands\-on familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or other AI productivity tools. * Ability to understand technical discussions and translate them into clear business/project actions. * Strong ownership and ability to work independently in a remote environment. * Experience working with US\-based clients or distributed global teams is preferred. Preferred Qualifications * PMP, Scrum Master, Agile, or similar certification is a plus. * Experience working on AI/GenAI, cloud, SaaS, software development, or digital transformation projects is preferred. * Experience managing projects involving cross\-functional teams and client\-facing delivery. * Exposure to AI\-based development tools, automation, or GenAI initiatives will be an advantage.
