In **2024**, Sika’s approximately **33,000 employees** generated annual sales of **CHF 11.76 billion**. **Job Description** **OBJECTIVE** Develop and coordinate mechanisms and procedures required to ensure proper management of procurement, storage, and distribution processes for finished products, including timely replenishment of regional warehouses and safeguarding material preservation and inventory accuracy across warehouses. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Coordinate complete and timely delivery of products to customers within agreed timeframes, including exports. * Monitor compliance with urban and national carrier routes using tracking tools. * Select transportation service providers from the pre-qualified list. * Coordinate and control inbound and outbound movements of finished products from production, other plants, third parties, and customers. * Execute material transfers (STO) generated at the distribution center (DC) promptly. * Coordinate periodic, random, and control inventories at the assigned DC. * Ensure appropriate inventory rotation according to expiration dates (FEFO). * Coordinate and verify compliance, quality, and efficiency of the company’s logistics processes, implementing necessary changes and controls to improve performance. * Monitor freight payments arising from primary and secondary logistics activities. * Validate monthly management indicators generated by the department. **Requirements** **EDUCATION** Industrial Engineering or Business Administration. A postgraduate degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is desirable. **SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE** Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards. Familiarity with ISO 45001. Knowledge of carrier management. Understanding of legal regulations applicable to hazardous material transportation, basic knowledge of highway emergency response, contractor management. Advanced proficiency in SAP ERP inventory and transportation modules. Leadership of high-performing teams. **RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE** Minimum three years’ experience in warehouse and transportation management, inventory administration, supply chain, quality management systems, international trade, and SAP ERP.
