Commitment to continuous professional development Wood is seeking a Project Controls professional to join its Projects business unit, focusing on the Oil, Gas and New Energy (OGNE) area. This opportunity is onsite. **The Role** Wood Colombia is seeking a professional with an engineering or administration degree (or related field) and over 12 years of specific experience in engineering projects within the Oil & Gas sector to serve as a **Project Controls** professional with a focus on Cost Control. Transforming the world.** Wood’s Oil, Gas and New Energy business is built upon a strong track record of delivering large, complex projects for national and international energy companies worldwide. **What We Can Offer** * Significant and interesting projects delivered to industry leaders in the Oil & Gas sector. * Flexible work arrangements that balance the needs of the client, team, and individual. * Commitment to diversity and inclusion across our entire organization, with employee networks dedicated to giving voice to all employees. * Flexible benefits package that can be tailored to your lifestyle. * Commitment to continuous professional development through customized development plans. * Prepare, develop and monitor the schedule in Primavera * Prepare and present reports to internal and external clients * Control and monitor time, hours and costs * Develop schedules and control costs * Comply at all times with the Company’s corporate and local policies and align with our Corporate Values. * Prepare the project schedule based on the proposal, contract and execution strategy. * Validate it with the Project Manager, Engineering Coordinator and Discipline Leads (CD). * Prepare the project budget, financial plans and billing plans, in coordination with Finance. * Verify the project deliverables list with the Project Manager. * Set up the project in HOLA for reporting and controlling man-hours and granting access to project members. * Prepare templates to be used on the project according to the contract and client requirements, such as periodic reports, KPIs, etc. * Analyze project status and progress in terms of planning, costs, risks and KPIs. * Maintain constant communication with the Project Manager to report any risks or deviations from the schedule and propose contingency plans. * Plan short-term activities within the project (bi-weekly plan). **What Makes You Extraordinary?** * At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunity and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. Ensure accurate and timely communication of project status information to our external and internal clients. * English proficiency level B2 * Experience in schedule development and cost control — required * Excellent command of Primavera * Experience with project billing, cost control management, budgeting, activity progress tracking, and staffing plans. * Proficiency in Power BI. * Primavera P6 Advanced user of Microsoft Office. * * **Desirable:** * + Positive attitude and teamwork orientation. * + Communication and active listening skills. * + Initiative. * + Attention to detail. * + Results-oriented mindset. * + Leadership. * **Soft Skills:** * Analytical and problem-solving ability. * Balanced decision-making considering consequences. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
