A company specializing in transportation, logistics, and operational management is seeking a **Safety Coordinator**, responsible for ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, road safety standards, risk management, and fleet control, thereby ensuring continuity and safety in daily operations. **Work Location:** Bogota **Schedule:** Sunday to Sunday Rotating 12-hour shifts **Contract Type:** Project-based or task-based contract **Salary:** To be agreed upon \+ statutory benefits \+ bonus **Academic Requirements:** * Professional degree in administrative, logistics, or security-related fields. * Knowledge of **BASC standards** and **ISO 28000**. * Proficiency in traffic management systems and GPS platforms. * Knowledge of transportation, logistics, and current regulatory frameworks. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Negotiation ability, customer service orientation, and rapid response capability in contingency situations. **Experience:** * Minimum **4 years of experience** in similar roles (monitoring, security, traffic or fleet control). * Personnel management experience. * Experience with BASC, SARLAFT, PESV, and GPS platforms. **Main Responsibilities:** * Monitor real-time road safety conditions, public order, and road status for daily operations. * Verify compliance with regulations, decrees, and restrictions governing land transportation. * Control and trace vehicles on highways, promptly reporting incidents. * Support the operational area with guidance on route-related risks and safety conditions. * Conduct pre-dispatch analyses and feasibility studies requested by clients. * Issue notifications regarding restrictions on holidays and special circumstances. * Update driver records for owned and subcontracted fleets, verifying legal requirements. * Manage emergencies reported by drivers. * Conduct security assessments of suppliers, customers, and urban/national routes. * Maintain up-to-date risk matrices, files, and supporting documents. * Ensure compliance with safety protocols, drills, and safety regulations. * Prepare management reports and operational reports. * Adhere to internal policies and tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
