Lead and motivate a team, setting clear goals. **We are excited to provide you with opportunities to grow.** Lead and supervise all transportation-related activities—including fleet management and third-party transportation services—to ensure operational efficiency, resource optimization, timely and safe delivery of goods and products, and adherence to high quality standards and applicable regulations and compliance requirements. Develop and implement the global transportation strategy, establishing clear departmental goals and objectives. Oversee route planning, vehicle allocation, and resource assignment to meet transportation requirements. Coordinate and optimize transportation operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective distribution of goods and products. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the fleet, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions as needed. Manage vehicle procurement and replacement, evaluating options and making decisions based on operational and budgetary needs. Evaluate and select external transportation and fleet providers in accordance with selection criteria, and negotiate competitive contracts and rates. Supervise and evaluate the performance of external providers, ensuring compliance with agreed service, quality, and safety standards. Maintain strong and effective relationships with external providers, managing any issues that may arise. Maintain consistent communication with the team to structure daily workflow and fulfill client-agreed conditions. Review and supervise daily scheduling with a focus on driver and team productivity. Ability to lead and motivate a team, set clear goals and objectives, and make effective decisions. Ability to develop and execute an effective transportation strategy aligned with operational needs and organizational goals. Capability to identify and efficiently address challenges and issues arising in transportation management.
